Dry white wine whose name comes from the Italian word Tartaruga
and recalls our terrapin breeding.
Types of grape: 60% Vermentino, 40% Chardonnay
Classification: White wine IGT TOSCANA
Vineyard: About 300 vines (Chardonnay), planted in 1992, south-western slope, cultivated in Cordon Royat. Vermentino from the neighbour.
Vinification: Picked by hand in August and September. Only the beautiful grapes are harvested. Temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation (18° to 19°C) with immediate malolactic fermentation. Cultivation on the yeast.
Degustation: In the nose an intensive aroma of exotic fruit (Lychee, Pineapple) and lemons. The palate confirms the fruity aroma, which are embedded in an agreeable acidity. Serve chilled, accompanying fish, seafood, spicy meals...
